Sip Some Bubble Tea at Tugo Tea House

Bubble tea is a cold, sweet tea beverage served with tapioca pearls and sipped through a thick straw. If you’ve never tried bubble tea before, you’re in for a real treat. Tugo Tea House is a new bubble tea shop that just opened near Hancock Square at Arlington Station.

Tea and Simple Fare

Tugo offers plenty of fun and unique bubble tea flavors. You can build your own tea by selecting your tea style, flavor, and toppings.

Guests like the Frog Bang Tea, which is made with black sugar and has a really rich, milky flavor. The raspberry and mango teas are also popular and are delicious topped with strawberry jelly or lychee burst.

Each day, the shop offers $1 off a different tea. If you’re not in the mood for bubble tea, they also offer sarsaporilla and apple sidra

If you’re feeling hungry, pair your tea with a simple Taiwanese snack. The beef noodle soup is a warm, delicious choice, especially on a cool spring day. The curry chicken rice and the popcorn chicken are also satisfying.

The Space

The dining area at Tugo Tea House is small but cozy with plenty of seating. The owner is often in the shop waiting on customers, and the servers are more than happy to make recommendations if you’re new to drinking bubble tea.

Tugo Tea House is located at 1285 N. Rand Road in Arlington Heights. They are open Tuesday – Sunday from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., so you can stop by on your lunch break or after work.
